Little Italy: Unforgettable Pizza Experience in Athens, GA

Love this spot and the food,I have been eating here for 20+ years.The subs are huge and taste great and the pizza is equally as big and tasty.Price is very reasonable too!

The Antipasto was packed with the meat and cheese. The pizza was perfectly cooked. Had an amazing crunchy crust with the perfect ratio of crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The amount of pepperoni on the pizza was above and beyond. I don’t know what kind of pepperoni they use but it was delicious. Definitely 2 thumbs up from these NY Italian Mamas

Ordered the meat lovers stromboli. I thought about getting an individual slice of pizza as well, but glad I didn't. The stromboli was more than enough! Loaded with ham, salami, pepperoni, and Italian sausage. Not crowded at all and service was quick.

If you know me I don't do reviews unless I have been to the establishment on three visits unless it is extremely disappointing or exceptional. This place is exceptional. I even did a video for this place that's the impression it made on me and my unexpected taste buds. Phenomenal is the word that comes to mind delicious is right there with the first word you could use them and feel them interchangeably when eating here. The love given to the fresh ingredients are top notch, but the love and care given to prepare said ingredients are uplifting. When I say the big hat dreadlocks man checked on that pie like a hawk and was a complete artisan of this field.... Mind blowing . I say that to say this if you are ever about 2 hours out from this spot come make the detor to get more!! Crazy great !!

Wow!! The pizza is fantastic here! The crust is perfect, crispy but not too crispy. Made my own William special pizza, 4 cheese, extra Mozzarella with red sauce, pepperoni's and meatballs. They knocked it out of the park. Best pizza I have had in a long while! Worth the drive and pretty downtown area to walk it off after.

The sub I had was genuinely good piled high on Italian bread with a satisfying bite and just the right chew. The bread alone deserves a shoutout: sturdy enough to hold everything together, but not so tough it fights back. Classic, no-frills, exactly what you want from a college-town sandwich shop. Now let’s talk atmosphere. They opened in 1997, and it kind of feels like the cleaning schedule might have wrapped up around then too. It’s unapologetically a college dive…worn-in, a little rough around the edges, and fully aware of what it is. You’re not coming here for ambiance. You’re coming here after class, after a game, or after a long night - it’s a great chill spot. And honestly? That’s part of the charm. It feels like a rite of passage for Athens students, the kind of place that survives on good bread, decent prices, and decades of late-night loyalty. Would I bring my in-laws? Probably not. Would I grab another sub? Absolutely.

My go to pizzeria in Athens. For those of you who are children of 80's this place will be your jam. Big smiles and cheap beer all around. Get a slice your way and an antipasto salad. The salad comes with all the meat that you need to be happy with some Italian dressing on the side. Mangia!!
